A recent study by the Commonwealth Fund finds that, compared to five other industrialized countries (Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, the United Kingdom), the U.S. has the most expensive, least efficient, and least accessible healthcare system.
That’s what we get for accepting the idea that somebody should make a profit every time we get sick.
