In honor of the 47th anniversary of Sierra Leone’s independence, we’ve got a special all–Sierra Leonean mix today.
The opening track, “Black Loyalist,” is performed by up-and-coming Sierra Leonean reggae star Shabaka, who—for those of you in the DC area—will be performing at Zanzibar on the Waterfront on Saturday, May 2 (that’s this coming Saturday).
